Hedsor House

A romantic, playful, and enchanting summer wedding celebration at Hedsor House.

Having booked their venue, A&R approached me with a particular focus on design and styling to elevate their celebration and bring their vision to life. I was given the brief of a couture-inspired pink and pastel colour palette and was entrusted creative freedom to create a fun yet sophisticated design.

Working through multiple design decks, style guides, and colour combinations, we created the perfect palette of tonal pinks with a pale blue accent, which was reflected in the details throughout the day. Florals, cake, tableware, and stationery were all carefully curated to spotlight the soft summery shades. Even the in-house digital invitations created by AJW&E and the guests' pastel dress code were carefully considered to create a cohesive colour moment.

A&R's profound affection for peonies became a central inspiration for their wedding design. We intricately wove this enchanting motif into every design detail. From the invitations to the bouquets of blousy blooms, we returned to this signature element to bring cohesion to the day. Even the charger plates were specifically sought for their peony pattern, and bespoke peony-shaped table names were commissioned to bring a romantic and unique look to the wedding breakfast. As a designer, I love working closely with my couples to carefully curate an original, personal, and impactful style.

From the meadow of fragrant flowers lining the aisle and leading the eye towards the show-stopping floral ground arch, to their elegant and playful tablescape vision, every moment was full of joy.
Months of meticulous planning and preparation culminated in a design that authentically represented the essence of A&R as a couple, while simultaneously leaving their guests in awe.
